Este año 2018 se celebra el 40 aniversario de la Constitución española. Desde aquí os animamos a que miréis a este momento histórico desde la perspectiva de género, y de la aportación que a este proceso hicieron las mujeres, aquellas 27 diputadas y senadoras constituyentes. Y con ellas, el movimiento feminista y colectivos de mujeres de todo el país que estaban en la calle empujándolas y apoyándolas.

Constituyentes women were in two historical acts which by the Congress of Deputies and by the Ministry of health, Social Affairs and equality on 28 and 29 November

 Coinciding with the premiere of "LAS CONSTITUYENTES" by Oliva Acosta, Congress and Ministry of health, Social Affairs and equality, organized two separate acts of homage to these pioneer women who participated in the drafting of the Constitution of 1978.
 
“Las Constituyentes” es un documento audiovisual histórico y el Parlamento Español así lo ha valorado, ya que por primera vez en estos 34 años va a reunir a las mujeres participantes en una foto hasta el momento inédita y en un acto que tendrá lugar el miércoles 28 de noviembre en el Congreso de los Diputados.
 
Las mujeres constituyentes posaron esa mañana para los medios gráficos en una foto histórica junto a miembros de las Comisiones de Igualdad tanto del Congreso como del Senado, representantes de instituciones relacionadas con temas de Igualdad y otros parlamentarios y parlamentarias.
 
Por la tarde, también en el Congreso, se proyectaró el largometraje documental y se realizó una mesa redonda, con presencia de las constituyentes y la directora, sobre la película y sobre este apasionante episodio de la historia de la participación política de las mujeres en España.
 
El jueves 29 de noviembre a media tarde, el cine Palafox de Madrid acogió un pase especial-homenaje de “Las Constituyentes”, organizado por el Ministerio de Sanidad, Servicios Sociales e Igualdad a través del Instituto de la Mujer, al que acudieron autoridades de estas instituciones y otras personalidades. Tras el pase, las constituyentes allí presentes y la directora del filme mantuvieron un coloquio con el público asistente.
 
El día 5 de diciembre, la víspera del aniversario de la Constitución, se presentará a medios el documental y la directora de la película junto a algunas de las protagonistas, atenderán a la prensa acreditada.
 
El largometraje, con guión y dirección de Oliva Acosta, es la primera película sobre las 27 mujeres, diputadas y senadoras, que desde su trabajo parlamentario en la legislatura constituyente de 1977, fueron protagonistas del cambio político hacia la democracia en España.
 
A través de la experiencia personal de estas pioneras, que recogen el testigo de Clara Campoamor, y de un encuentro en el Senado entre diputadas y políticas actuales con algunas de las mujeres constituyentes, el documental no solo habla de una forma inédita sobre la transición española y sobre el parlamentarismo de nuestro país, sino también de la historia misma de las democracias occidentales.
 
“Las Constituyentes”, producido por Olivavá Producciones con la participación de Canal Sur TV, ETB y RTVCanaria, y distribuido por OlieteFilms, se estrenará en cines el 14 de diciembre.
 
Además de recibir numerosos premios, entre los que destacan la Biznaga de Plata 'Afirmando los derechos de las Mujeres' en el Festival de Málaga 2012 y una Mención Especial 'Eurodoc' del Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla 2011, el ICAA ha incluido este largometraje dentro de la nueva categoría de calificación 'Especialmente recomendada para la igualdad de género', por ser una película que promueve "la eliminación de prejuicios, imágenes estereotipadas y roles en función del sexo, o impulsar la construcción y difusión de representaciones plurales y reales de ambos sexos". Es el primer documental que recibe esta calificación.
